Where is the work: On-Site (5 days) Job Title: Senior Designer, Supply Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining accurate, structured, and customer-ready aftermarket Parts Listing data across multiple systems, including Service BOMs and drawings/graphics. This role supports the North America Trane Supply business by interpreting engineering and aftermarket information, supporting project execution, and ensuring data quality, consistency, and readiness across different business channels. This position requires strong attention to detail, solid engineering fundamentals, and the ability to manage large volumes of structured data in a fast-paced environment. The role also requires effective cross-functional communication, customer focus, and a continuous improvement mindset. Responsibilities : Maintain accurate aftermarket Service BOMs and drawings across multiple systems. Interpret engineering data and aftermarket data to support Parts Listing activities. Support aftermarket PMO projects and ensure timely execution of assigned tasks. Ensure listing data quality, consistency, and readiness across different business channels. Document work processes and support continuous improvement in daily operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. CET-4 required; CET-6 preferred. Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering or related areas. Solid engineering fundamentals with experience in 3D modeling and 2D drafting. Experience with Windchill, Teamcenter or other PLM/PDM database systems is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with aftermarket Parts Listing, Service BOM maintenance, or related engineering data management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of structured data accurately. Experience supporting projects in a cross-functional and cross-region environment. Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with structured problem-solving methods such as A3 and 9-Step problem solving. Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and drive continuous improvement through documentation and process standardization.
