Job Overview
Oversees the team to ensure efficient operations in achieving the goals and targets aligned with the business strategy and ensures efficient day-to-day operations. Job Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform evaluations and/or analyze unique problems that are new to equipment. • Perform predictive maintenance by analyzing routine failures and determining adjustments and repairs that need to be made. • Perform training as needed to Lower-level Maintenance Techs on troubleshooting and repair techniques utilized with equipment • Perform specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent equipment downtime. • Monitor equipment operations to ensure proper usage. • Construct and/or assemble new equipment. • Troubleshoot equipment failures and repair as needed. • Perform specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent equipment down-time. • Perform Lock Out / Tag Out requirements. • Help repairing on hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical systems. • Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet business conditions or changes. • Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards. • Analyze and improve existing products, equipment, processes as assigned. • Develop manufacturing methods and processes in the production of components and methods to reduce manufacturing costs. • Investigate, establish and implement requirements for equipment, tooling, and methods of manufacturing. • Participate in cost reduction and cost of quality programs. • Assist manufacturing engineer in solving production constraints. • Support production through independent review, root cause analysis, corrective action, discrepancy handling, and defect prevention. REQUIREMENTS • Good communication skills, both oral and written. • Ability to work independently. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows. • Must have good or corrected eyesight to ensure quality of work. • Strong practical technical ability. • Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE • Associate Diploma in a technical discipline or equivalent
