Job Description
Summary of the Role: As a Technician IV, Manufacturing, you will be responsible for supporting production quality, process optimization, and equipment qualification within the manufacturing environment. Your key responsibilities include performing KIV checks on critical tool parameters, conducting equipment qualifications following setup and conversion activities, supporting yield improvement initiatives led by process engineers, and assisting with experimental builds and engineering trials. You also provide technical support in resolving quality issues for both internal and external customers, participate in ASM line OCAP activities while addressing feedback from backend teams, and build test pieces for line maintenance to ensure stable, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities and Role Accountabilities: Performs KIV checking for the tool critical parameters such as clamping speed, picker teaching and other defined check items Performs other task assigned by process engineers for yield improvement Support engineer for addressing quality issues for both internal and external customers 4upport other experimental builds from PM, slider fab and other trials Attend PIS (stoppage, coordinate for repair and qualification) 9.Perform qualification after tool set-up and conversion Build test piece for Line maintenance use Qualifications Education and Work Experience: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Technology, Electromechanical Technology, Computer Technology, Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology or a related field of study. Atleast 4 years of work experience in the relevant field. Knowledge of equipment setup, qualification, tool conversion, and process verification activities. Experience supporting process engineers with yield improvement initiatives and engineering trials is an advantage. Industry exposure in Electronics or Semiconductor Manufacturing setup is highly preferred. Skills and Competency Requirements: Understanding of equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and quality issue resolution for internal and external customers. Ability to perform equipment qualification following setup, model, or configuration changes while ensuring compliance with established procedures. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions accurately. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, maintenance personnel, and cross-functional teams. Able to work
