Role and Responsibilities Job Description The HVAC Business Development Manager is responsible for accelerating business growth across Latin America by developing strategic accounts and regional partnerships. The role focuses on identifying and converting opportunities that require regional coordination, including corporate accounts, applied HVAC projects, and new routes to market. This position works closely with subsidiaries, HQ, and external partners to convert market opportunities into a qualified pipeline and sustainable revenue growth Key Job Responsabilities A. Strategic Account Development Identify, prioritize, and develop regional corporate accounts with business potential across multiple Latin American markets. Develop account strategies, stakeholder maps, and regional value propositions. Support negotiations for regional supply agreements and preferred-supplier arrangements, maintaining relationships with key decision-makers. B. New Business & Partnership Development Identify and develop new business opportunities in strategic verticals such as data centers, retail, and hospitality, with a focus on applied HVAC, energy efficiency, and integrated solutions. Develop partnerships with ESCOs, building-automation companies, consultants, and strategic contractors Build business cases for new solutions and partnership models, leading initial commercial discussions and coordinating internal alignment. C. Pipeline Creation & Opportunity Conversion Develop and manage a qualified regional project pipeline aligned with strategic priorities. Coordinate lead-generation and opportunity qualification, establishing clear ownership and action plans. Monitor project progress, remove barriers, and support subsidiaries in developing customer-specific commercial strategies.
Requirements
3) Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in HVAC Project business development, strategic sales, or key-account management. Experience in HVAC, building technologies, energy solutions, or another technical B2B industry is strongly preferred. Proven success developing complex opportunities with multiple stakeholders and extended sales cycles. Experience in regional or multi-country business coordination is strongly preferred. Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM pipeline management tools. Advanced English and Portuguese or Spanish; proficiency in all three languages is a strong advantage. Availability for business travel. 4) Key Competencies Business Development: Converts market needs and strategic relationships into actionable business opportunities. Strategic Account Management: Builds structured engagement plans for complex regional customers. Negotiation & Influence: Aligns internal and external stakeholders to achieve commercial goals.
