About this role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) Shared Services Org (SSO) is seeking a GTM Readiness & Deal Acceleration Lead to ensure SSO's 300+ team members - BDMs, Account Managers, Demand Gen specialists, Capture Managers, and Contract professionals - are equipped, enabled, and accelerated across every stage of the deal lifecycle. This role spans the full SSO portfolio Greenfield Sales (GF), Lead Development (GLD), Strategic Pursuits (SP), and Business Contracts (BC) - owning GTM readiness programs while supporting deal velocity through strategic advisory and execution support. You will serve as the connective tissue between SSO's cross-functional teams and the tools, processes, and knowledge they need to win. On the GTM Readiness side, you own the enablement lifecycle - from needs assessment through content development, delivery, and adoption measurement - serving all functions, not just sales. On the Deal Acceleration side, you provide strategic advisory and hands-on execution support that helps teams move faster from qualification to realized revenue. The ideal candidate blends GTM program design with deal-level execution: someone who can architect a readiness program for capture managers in the morning and remove friction from a complex deal in the afternoon. You thrive in a cross-functional environment, can translate complex tools and processes into digestible content for diverse audiences (BDMs, contract specialists, demand gen), and have a bias for building scalable mechanisms over one-off solutions. This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen. Key job responsibilities GTM Readiness - Cross-Pillar, Cross-Function Enablement - Design and deliver readiness programs across all SSO verticals and functions (GLD, GF, BC, SP) - onboarding, tools training, playbooks, and role-specific development. - Own the readiness calendar; identify gaps via cross-functional feedback and win/loss analysis. - Drive adoption of key tools and workflows. - Run recurring readiness mechanisms. - Measure effectiveness via adoption metrics, time-to-productivity, and team feedback; contribute to MBR/QBR reporting on enablement KPIs. - Serve as feedback conduit between field and leadership - surface pain points and recommend solutions. Deal Acceleration - Strategic Advisory & Execution Support - Provide hands-on support to remove friction from complex deals - pricing guidance, partner coordination, bid preparation, or other blockers as they emerge. - Develop decision frameworks, playbooks, and templates that help teams navigate recurring deal challenges independently. - Partner with vertical leadership and Finance to ensure consistency and alignment across deal motions. - Track patterns across deals to identify systemic gaps; convert recurring issues into scalable enablement.
