Job Description

Job Family Definition: Responsible for protecting the company's global assets and interests which include personnel, property/operations, products, brand and intellectual property (IP). Principal activities include the following: • Working with HPE business and functional groups globally, designs, develops, implements and administers cost-effective, pro-active security programs and services. Encompasses executive protection, product authentication, anti-fraud, physical security, supply chain security, online security, contingency planning, and crisis management response. Includes analysis, design, audit, training and reporting related to these programs and services. • Leads security-related communications, promotes security awareness, designs and maintains communications channels to facilitate the distribution of time-sensitive security alerts, threat assessments, general travel guidance and other content. • Investigates allegations/incidents of illegal activity, violations of corporate policies, and serious impropriety by employees. Provides management with assessments/advice on organizations or individuals who are contemplating or using illegal or disruptive tactics against HPE. • Maintain liaison with domestic and international law enforcement, governmental security and intelligence agencies, industry organizations, and relevant organizations and individuals, to collect information relating to the security of HPE assets and interests. • Continually assesses and aligns security resources with risks. Management Level Definition: Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

Responsibilities

Conduct end-to-end investigations into unauthorized sales, gray market diversion, sales of counterfeit HPE products and other fraud schemes that damage HPE financially as well as cause reputational harm. Perform deep-dive order and opportunity analysis to identify anomalies, high-risk transactions, and misuse of HPE products or programs. Partner with HPE Business Units and access risks on channel integrity matters and compliance with contractual obligations. Assess risks related to channel integrity, contract non-compliance, and revenue leakage, and implement mitigation strategies. Leverage internal HPE platforms to trace product lifecycle, validate transactions, and support enforcement actions. Apply knowledge of HPE contracts, reseller agreements, channel ecosystem and go-to-market models to determine violations and recommend corrective actions. Support fraud prevention, intellectual property protection, and supply chain incidents as needed. Develop case intelligence and trend analysis on recurring offenders and
