Summary The Executive– Cyber Services is a senior leader within the Cybersecurity organization of a $40B aerospace and defense company, and a peer to the Cybersecurity CTO. This role is accountable for the results of the Cyber Services discipline and for how core cyber capabilities are engineered, delivered, and operated across the enterprise. You will lead a global team of professionals providing end‑to‑end Cyber Services including Secure Development, Secure Endpoint & Collaboration, and Secure Network, Application & Cloud Security (including Zero Trust and site connectivity). Your work directly impacts the security, reliability, and productivity of GE Aerospace’s global workforce and digital operations.
Job Description
Responsibilities Own Cyber Services to the Enterprise Define and manage the Cyber Services strategy, service catalog, SLAs, and KPIs, ensuring services are reliable, effective, and aligned to business and regulatory needs. Execute service roadmaps that bring consistency and scalability to cyber operations globally. Lead Secure Development Services Embed security into the SDLC and DevSecOps practices (secure coding, SAST/DAST, threat modeling, secure design reviews). Partner with product and engineering leaders to shift security left and reduce vulnerabilities and time-to-remediate. Drive Secure Endpoint & Collaboration Own endpoint and collaboration security (laptops, mobile, VDI, collaboration platforms, EDR/XDR, patching). Balance strong protection with user experience for a global, mobile workforce. Deliver Secure Network, Application & Cloud Security / Zero Trust Lead services for network security, application security operations, cloud security controls, and Zero Trust architecture. Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to secure connectivity and enforce Zero Trust across on-prem and cloud. Manage Service Operations & Risk Establish robust processes for service health, incident response handoffs, and change management. Own key service and risk metrics, driving continuous improvement using lean/FLIGHT DECK principles. Lead and Develop the Team Lead multiple direct reports and a team of specialists across regions. Build a high-performing, diverse team and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with 12+ years professional experience in IT, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, or related technical fields OR Associate degree with 15+ years; OR High School Diploma/GED with 17+ years (military experience counts as professional experience). 9+ years in Cyber Operations, Infrastructure/Security Engineering, or Security Service Delivery in large, complex organizations. 7+ years as a People Leader, including leadership of global or multi-location teams of senior professionals/managers. US Citizenship required. This role is remote , with a preference for candidates located near or able to work from Cincinnati, OH; Atlanta, GA; or Livonia, MI .
Preferred Qualifications
Deep expertise in secure development, endpoint security, collaboration security, network and cloud security, and Zero Trust architectures. Experience defining and operating service catalogs, SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs for cyber or infrastructure services at enterprise scale. Background in highly regulated, mission-critical industries (e.g., aerospace, defense, critical infrastructure). Proven track record transforming and standardizing cyber/infrastructure services globally. Strong business and financial acumen, including independent budget management and investment tradeoffs. Strong executive presence, with excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence senior stakeholders on cyber risk and service strategy. The base pay range for this
