About this role
We help the world run better At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed. About the Program: We’re a bit different to other internships in that we aren’t limited to final year students or only offered over summer or winter breaks. Our paid program offers you the flexibility of being able to gain valuable work experience without sacrificing your studies. The STAR program is a 2-year program, during which time you will gain experience in different areas. You’ll have a dedicated STAR manager to support your personal development and a rotational mentor to guide you as you learn the ropes in each team. You will also have a STAR student mentor to help you find your way around and show you the best bits of the office! So how does it work? The STAR Program is the part time job that gives you a competitive advantage over other students when you graduate, looks great on your LinkedIn profile and provides experience learning soft skills such as:
Networking
Customer facing communication
Internal presentations
Job shadowing
Project management
Time management
In this role as a STAR student, you will have the opportunity to:
Experience different aspects of our business, often via 6 month rotations
Receive on-the-job structured development, coaching and mentoring and have the opportunity to interact with managers, leaders, and Executives from the Leadership team.
Work on a part-time basis during the academic year with an option to work full-time over the semester break – all paid of course!
Earn academic credit from accredited programs at your university for your experience.
Gain hands-on practical work experience and start building your professional network early.
