Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Staff Engineer Electronics to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This onsite position is in Melbourne, FL. The Staff Engineer Electronics in this role will serve as the Avionics Deputy Lead and must possess in-depth knowledge of Avionics for mission processing in addition to personnel and operations management and will be responsible for one or more of the following: Perform Control Account Management (CAM) duties Coordinate with technical leadership in a cross functional Integrated Program Team (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule, and technical objectives Serve as DOA for programmatic and technical meetings, presentations, and reviews Drive to completion Avionics preparation for SETR events with the customer Develop and deliver presentations to customers, management, and other program stakeholders Interpret, allocate, tailor, write and flow down requirements to all levels of a system architecture Analyze/Review Trade studies, documenting subsystem architectures, analyzing performance, and evaluating Technology Readiness Level (TRL) with regard to supplier current and future products offerings Manage completion of document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams and specifications Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to ensure effective integration of avionics subsystems to meet platform mission objectives Technical management of program strategic partners and suppliers, including development, acquisition, acceptance, qualification, system integration and test support Building supplier evaluation criteria and experience in conducting technical evaluations, documenting results and selection Review documents from the supplier’s development effort and support supplier technical interchange meetings and design reviews Basic Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 12 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Master’s degree from an accredited university AND 10 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. (STEM) AND 9 years of
