JOB SUMMARY
The Account Manager is responsible for Arch’s visibility and results of lender client relationships in an assigned geographical territory. T hey develop long-term relationships , at the corporate and branch level , and deliver value added credit enhancement solution s. This role work s closely with the respective DVP or RVP on strategy , new customer opportunities, and call patterns for the territory. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Meet with lender customers to promote Arch US MI’s products to expand and sell new business. Establish, b uild and maintain relationships with senior level executives and MI decision influencers. 2. Develop and demonstrate thorough knowledge of customers’ operations, business models, and challenges . Leverage Arch products and services to achieve production objectives and advance customers’ business strategies. 3. Develop, implement, and maintain account plans, goals, and home office summaries in SalesForce.com (SFDC). Utilize SFDC for monthly planning, daily call reporting, and account summary highlights. 4. Keep current on both national and local industry trends and contribute to the mortgage industry through networking and industry events. 5. Represent Arch at client meetings, regional and state conferences, trade shows and other events to promote Arch’s products and broaden exposure within the mortgage industry. 6. Support ancillary or adjacent product offerings by Arch Mortgage Global Group. If requested, facilitate any quality leads to Arch Insurance. 7. Understand competitors’ strengths and weaknesses and communicate any relevant competitive intel to Arch MI Corporate. A rticulate to customer s the differentiated products and services of Arch US MI . 8. Collaborate with internal departments to deliver superior customer service and response time ensuring “ease of use” and customer loyalty. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Knowledge & Skills: 1. Ability to develop, implement and monitor account specific strategies and sales tactics to achieve NIW growth objectives . 2. Results driven and solutions oriented , with the a bility to utilize time effectively. Ability to work with remote teams. 3. T echnical capability using Microsoft Office suite of products including Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point; Familiarity with and high level of comfort using remote access tools (VPN) and Salesforce.com and other web-based tools. 4. Competent understanding of the mortgage industry and basic GSE requirements for mortgage insurance . 5. Ability to interact with and deliver presentations to senior level decision makers, vendors, and clients in a professional manner.
Education & Experience
Required knowledge & skills would typically be acquired through a Bachelor’s degree . Work experience in lieu of degree is acceptable. Working Conditions/Environment & Physical Demands 1. Remote based employment . 2. 75-85% travel - Expectations include daily sales calls, lender meetings, and conferences. Some travel may be necessary over weekends if conferences dictate .
