About this role
We are looking for a finance-minded Program Manager to support capital planning operations, co-own the annual operating plan (OP1/OP2) process, and contribute to broader strategic programs across the Technology Supply Chain (Tech-SC). This role sits at the intersection of finance, process automation, and program execution — you will support the capital appropriation request (CAR) process, help pull together business cases and OP entitlements, and provide the financial rigor that shapes how Tech-SC plans and allocates investment. You do not need to be a career finance professional — but you should be comfortable with financial concepts, able to build a business case, and eager to grow into a role where financial analysis drives program decisions. This is not a passive reporting role: you will co-own the OP1/OP2 planning cycle alongside the Rhythm of the Business PM, help drive automation of capital planning processes, and execute on the cross-functional Supply Chain Organization Program Enablement (SCOPE) portfolio alongside the broader team. The specific balance of capital planning versus broader program work will be shaped with your manager based on team needs. Key job responsibilities Capital Planning Support - Support the capital appropriation request (CAR) process across Tech-SC's portfolio, partnering with existing capital planning owners - Contribute to capital planning cycles, BOM-level coordination, and program-level financial deliverables - Build depth in capital planning governance and financial compliance over time OP1/OP2 Co-Ownership & Financial Analysis - Co-own the annual operating plan (OP1/OP2) process alongside the Rhythm of the Business PM - Pull together business cases, OP entitlements, and investment justifications for Tech-SC initiatives - Provide financial analysis and direction across SCOPE's strategic initiative portfolio - Partner with program owners to assess investment trade-offs, entitlement sizing, and cost-benefit framing - Serve as a financial lens on new business intake decisions and planning-cycle prioritization Process Automation & Innovation - Define the vision and roadmap for automating capital planning appropriation requests - Leverage AI tools to build agents, workflows, and mechanisms that reduce manual effort and accelerate cycle times - Identify opportunities to eliminate repetitive financial processes through intelligent automation General Program Management - Contribute to cross-functional programs spanning all pillars of Tech-SC - Support intake management, delivery assurance, and stakeholder coordination as capacity allows - Drive operational cadences (MBR/QBR inputs, goal tracking, dependency management) within assigned programs A day in the life Your day blends financial analysis, program execution, and automation. You'll partner with SCOPE program owners to build business cases and size OP entitlements, support the CAR process alongside capital planning owners, and co-drive OP1/OP2 inputs with the Rhythm of the Business PM. You'll work across partner teams — helping them navigate intake and planning decisions. A recurring theme: finding where manual financial and planning work can be automated with AI, then building the agents and mechanisms to eliminate it. You'll operate with high visibility to senior Tech-SC leadership.
