Job Description
The Regional Ads Performance Manager will be responsible for driving Ads business performance across the region, ensuring countries are well-supported in achieving their advertising revenue targets. This role serves as the key regional partner to commercial markets, providing strategic guidance, operational support, and performance management while coordinating closely with Finance on Ads P&L matters. The role also owns regional planning processes, including budgeting, target setting, and performance improvement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
Ads Performance Management: Lead the regional performance management of the Ads business by monitoring country performance against targets, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving initiatives to accelerate growth. Market Partnership & Support: Act as the primary regional point of contact for 16 markets, providing guidance on product-related questions, troubleshooting operational issues, resolving execution challenges, and navigating strategic conflicts to enable successful Ads execution. Financial Performance & Planning: Partner closely with Finance to manage Ads P&L matters, including reconciling discrepancies between commercial reporting and financial actuals, supporting bad debt discussions, and ensuring alignment on revenue performance. Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive the annual budgeting and target-setting process for the Ads business, while leading ongoing forecasting, risk and opportunity assessments, and performance reviews throughout the year. Growth Acceleration: Partner with underperforming markets to diagnose performance gaps and co-create targeted acceleration plans and growth initiatives to improve Ads revenue performance and achieve commercial objectives.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy, business planning, commercial operations, finance, revenue management, project management, or related roles. Proven success in fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup or technology environments, with experience managing cross-functional stakeholders. Strong understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L) management and financial concepts, with the ability to interpret financial performance, reconcile commercial and finance reporting, and understand the business impact of revenue, costs, and bad debt. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, target setting, and performance management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations. Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with regional stakeholders, country teams, Finance, Product, and other cross-functional partners. Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple markets while driving initiatives independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and influence stakeholders at different levels. Team player who combines high performance with a positive, collaborative attitude.
