Our Connected Aviation – Air Traffic Solutions - Software Engineering Department (ATS-SED) is looking for talented early career Software Engineers to join our team developing and supporting our Air Traffic Control Systems worldwide. We develop safety-of-life air traffic systems for mulit-national customers used for controlling and monitoring civil and military aviation traffic. This is an opportunity to learn new COTS tools, processes, and methodologies as you focus on improving your skills to support, design, develop, integrate, and test operational software components throughout the SW development life-cycle. What You Will Learn and Do: Make complex fixes to solve problems or create significant enhancements with guidance from Subject Matter Experts in the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Product Line software. Update SW process documentation and work instructions needed to meet ATS SED’s high maturity level software engineering standards and processes. Participate in agile processes and procedures to improve daily standups, sprint planning, sprint feature development, retrospectives, back log grooming and story pointing while using Atlassian tool suite.
