You will translate technical and operational concepts into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with internal and external stakeholders. On our team, you will develop and implement communication strategies that support Combatant Command (CCMD) public affairs objectives during operations, exercises, and theater outreach activities. You will contribute to public affairs planning, media operations, and message development across multiple channels, ensuring all products follow government approval processes. You will monitor the information environment, analyze media reporting, and apply quantitative and qualitative methods to evaluate trends, sentiment, and narrative evolution. You will deliver high‑quality media products on approved platforms, support engagement preparation for leadership, and ensure seamless knowledge transfer during transitions. The world can’t wait.  You Have:   Experience in public affairs, media relations, or digital communications Experience developing and implementing communication strategies, message frameworks, or public outreach plans Experience conducting media monitoring, environmental analysis, or assessment of the information environment Experience producing media products, including written content, visuals, or digital media for approved public channels Knowledge of DoW or Military Service public affairs processes, media operations, and communication planning Ability to translate technical or operational concepts into accessible, compelling messaging Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support public affairs activities during operations and exercises TS/SCI clearance Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of experience in strategic communications, or Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience in strategic communications Nice If You Have:   Experience conducting media sentiment analysis, narrative tracking, or data‑driven communication assessments Experience at the CCMD or Military Service level Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analytical methods used to evaluate communication impact and media trends Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
