Job Title:  ServiceNow Developer PS Job Title: Cloud Specialist, Sr Work Place Flexibility: Hybrid  Legal Entity:  Entergy Services, LLC     ***This position is based out of The Woodlands, TX and New Orleans, LA. This position will be filled as a Cloud Specialist Sr. Relocation assitance is not provided.***     JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE  As a ServiceNow Developer within Entergy’s Operational Governance team, you will provide IT services to internal customers as well as deliver ongoing support for ServiceNow-based software solutions. This role provides the opportunity to engage in the full application lifecycle as part of a scrum team. You will design, develop, and support solutions on the Now platform that supports Entergy’s core IT processes.     JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop application features with configuration and custom code development.  Develop agentic solutions on the ServiceNow platform - using native ServiceNow AI tools and integrations with third-party platforms. Assist in the coordination of any changes, upgrades and testing with support providers for external integrations and systems.

Participate in peer reviews for application changes.  Participate in scrum ceremonies such as refinement, demo, and release planning.  Create workflows and build service requests based on customers’ specifications.  Use scripting tools and ServiceNow functionalities to automate rote tasks.  Perform system and integration testing; and monitor health, usage, and overall compliance within the application.

Generate reports as needed.  Support the daily operations of our ServiceNow core platform and all modules in use - includes monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, and security compliance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS  Minimum education and experience required of the position:  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, business administration, or other technical area of study OR equivalent work experience; advanced degree is a plus.

Cloud Specialist Senior: minimum 5+ years working as a software developer for an enterprise platform

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

Solid analytic and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Solid familiarity with AI systems and architectures Proven experience working with Agile development teams.  Experience with JavaScript is required.  Familiarity with software development and design methodologies  Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Prior ServiceNow experience  Prior experience developing AI systems Understanding of enterprise system design patterns and best practices Understanding of design thinking techniques including Personas, Journey Maps, and Business Model Canvas

Any ServiceNow, Certified Agile Product Owner, AI, or ITIL certifications are a plus.
