Overview
The Chief of Staff with our AI Experiences team is a trusted strategic advisor and operational leader, partnering closely with the CVP of Engineering and partnering across the leadership team to drive organizational effectiveness, business rigor, and execution excellence. Operating at the intersection of strategy, business operations, and leadership effectiveness, this role translates priorities into scalable operating mechanisms, governance models, and measurable outcomes. The role leads the organization's rhythm of business, policy development, budget and resource planning, and operational integration across a complex and evolving engineering organization. As a key partner to senior leaders across the org, the Chief of Staff drives alignment, enables informed decision-making, and ensures execution against strategic priorities. Success in this role requires exceptional judgment, executive presence, and influence across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate is highly resourceful and collaborative, with strong business and financial acumen, the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities, and a track record of helping leaders evaluate tradeoffs, prioritize investments, and focus resources where they deliver the greatest impact. Responsibilities
Partner closely with Copilot Engineering leaders to drive strategic planning, execution, and alignment. Translate team priorities into the operating cadence of the team: planning, business reviews, people rhythms, communications, and follow-through. Lead and manage business rhythms including leadership meetings, all-hands, and planning cycles. Drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure timely execution of key priorities. Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to leadership, enabling clarity and focus. Manage communications and change management across the organization. Drive organizational health efforts including talent planning, team health, leadership team effectiveness, outcome focused engineering improvements. culture, morale, and communications. Coordinate with finance, Human Resources, and other support functions to ensure operational efficiency. This includes headcount management as well as communication to hiring managers. Lead special projects and initiatives that span engineering and product teams.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 12+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 15+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.
