Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking an EHS Analyst. This position will be located at our Los Angeles, CA facility.       The EHS Analyst is responsible for leading and supporting the environmental, health, safety, and security at the Los Angeles, CA, facility. In this role, you will direct EHS activities at the location, complete internal reporting of EHS performance, communicate and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, assure accurate and complete EHS reporting of metrics, ensure closure of Eaton MESH and regulatory agency findings on a timely basis, along with completion of required training for EHS and other site personnel. ​ The expected annual salary range for this role is $99000 - $145000 a year.   Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  What you’ll do: 
 •    Support the site in achieving EHS targets & objectives while creating a Zero Incident Safety Culture. Support development, maintenance, and achievement of goals supporting corporate and business group EHS strategic initiatives.  •    Support MESH element champions and help drive completion of annual MESH Assessment and corrective actions. •    Facilitate EHS engagement through EHS teams and committees needed to accomplish the established targets and objectives for the year.  •    Use established EHS data processes such as MESH Prism and Benchmark to manage data such as injuries and illnesses, environmental and safety metrics, risk assessments, EHS action items, and other pertinent information.  •    Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to ensure occupational health and safety compliance.   •    Prepare, conduct, and monitor various training programs to meet regulatory requirements and lead New Hire EHS Orientation.  •    Prepare required reports, plans, and other government EHS filings and ensure timely and accurate submission.  •    Evaluate jobs for possible ergonomic improvements (body mechanics, lifts, hoists, manipulators, etc.) and implement these work design changes.  •    Be an active member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and help lead ERT drills.  •    Support and conduct incident reporting and investigations.   •    Manage aspects of SPCC, SWPPP, Waste, Air & Hazardous Materials Programs •    Coordinate IH assessments (noise, lead, solvents, etc.). Qualifications: 
 Required (Basic) Qualifications: •    Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. •    Minimum of one (1) year experience in EH&S. •    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.  •    This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158. •    No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Los Angeles, CA will be considered.
