About the Role
We are looking for a Sr Product Manager - Technical (PM-T) to own the post-purchase and circular-ownership product for the Selection Circularity pillar within Selection Excellence Technology (SET), part of EU INTech. This role owns the product strategy and roadmap for how millions of EU customers protect, repair, and give a second life to the products they own, turning a one-time sale into a lasting ownership relationship across European stores. You will define and prioritize the roadmap for a team of software development engineers and applied scientists building the platform behind Amazon's post-purchase experience in Europe: warranty and out-of-warranty repair, product protection and insurance, and the coverage and claims infrastructure that ties them together. You will own the product end-to-end from OEM and brand onboarding, to repair coverage across EU marketplaces, to the customer experience when something breaks, and extend it toward closing the ownership loop across a product's full lifecycle. You will drive tradeoffs with engineering and align Legal, business stakeholders, and external OEM, brand, and insurer partners. This is a role where a complex partner and regulatory landscape meets customer-experience innovation. Each of our pillars carry their own web of external relationships, insurer economics, and EU regulation with Right to Repair, the Digital Product Passport as the product-identity spine, and extended-producer-responsibility rules. Amazon needs a technical product leader who can work backwards from customers, tie these inputs to business outcomes, and turn that complexity into a coherent post-purchase experience that earns customer trust and builds durable competitive advantage. Key job responsibilities - Influence the development and execution of high-quality feature roadmaps based on the overall product strategy and vision. - Understand and explain the impact of product features on the strategic value, usability, and performance of Amazon's circularity, sustainability, and repair products across EU stores. - Make prioritization and trade-off decisions among customer experience, scope, and time to market. - Manage product planning and development through day-to-day collaboration and decision making with a cross-functional team including engineers, applied scientists, designers, and business/partner teams. - Partner with legal, compliance, and external regulatory developments to translate evolving EU requirements into customer-facing product features. - Write working backwards documents (PR/FAQs, narratives) that define new product features from the customer's perspective and align stakeholders on the problem, solution, and success criteria. - Define and analyze metrics that measure and benchmark product success.
