About this role
Product Development & Innovation Design and develop electrical architectures, control systems, and automation solutions for new product development projects. Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and technical documentation. Develop, program, test, and optimize PLC and HMI applications for industrial dispensing equipment. Integrate sensors, heaters, motors, valves, and communication devices into complete machine control systems. Support prototype builds, product verification, validation testing, and design reviews. Evaluate and implement new technologies that improve product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and customer value. System Integration & Validation Collaborate with Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Management teams throughout the product development process. Conduct system-level integration testing and troubleshoot electrical and control system issues. Support laboratory testing, performance evaluations, and reliability assessments. Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements. Technical Support & Continuous Improvement Provide advanced technical support to Manufacturing, Service, and Sales teams. Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and automation-related issues through systematic root cause analysis. Support product improvement initiatives and cost-reduction projects. Assist with customer-specific requirements and customized product solutions when needed. Compliance & Documentation Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, test reports, and design specifications. Support CE, UL, and other applicable certification activities. Participate in risk assessments and safety reviews for new products.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, automation, controls engineering, or industrial equipment development. Experience developing control systems for industrial machinery or equipment. Experience working within a product development or R&D environment preferred. Exposure to multinational or global engineering organizations is an advantage. Required Strong knowledge of industrial electrical design and control systems. Proficiency in PLC programming, preferably with: Siemens/Mitsubishi Experience configuring and developing HMI applications. Understanding of: PID Temperature controls; Solenoid valves; Pressure sensors; Level sensors; Flow sensors; Motor control systems. Experience using EPLAN Electric P8 and/or AutoCAD Electrical. Ability to read and develop technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Ability to work with English-language engineering documentation. Preferred Knowledge of circuit design and PCB fundamentals. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, CAN, etc.). Experience with CE compliance and machinery safety standards. Experience using SAP, SAP C4C, or related enterprise systems. Knowledge of adhesive dispensing, fluid handling, or precision motion control systems.
