Discover how transformative growth accelerates impact. Meet the Team The candidate will join a team based in Singapore, as part of a Follow The Sun (FTS) team of global network engineers. The network team engineers, automates, monitors and supports high-performance networks with extreme uptime requirements utilizing cutting edge network technologies. This role will focus on all aspects of enterprise networking including datacenter, backbone, market data, co-lo, and end user environments. The Asia Networks team is part of a 40 strong Asia Infrastructure team with expertise across infrastructure disciplines including Data Center Management, Windows, Unix, Cloud, Information Security and virtualization. The candidate must be able to work with technical engineers and clients that span global offices across the US, EMEA, and APAC.
What You'll Do
Engineer, operate and implement enterprise network solutions across Market Data, low latency execution, datacenter, backbone, desktop connectivity, corporate Wi-Fi and remote offices. Serve as an escalation point for critical issues, connecting the global team to key network challenges and advocating for the needs of the APAC region. Implement global standards and contribute to the network automation framework for deployment and operations. Provision connectivity to various exchanges and counterparty B2B connections within trading network environments. Train and mentor junior engineers while driving operational process improvements. What You Bring Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a network engineering role, with strong technical ownership in a global organisation, including DC/enterprise leaf-spine designs, WAN engineering and enterprise QoS. Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, multicast, and Trading Network implementation & operations. Working knowledge of Internet Perimeter designs with Firewalls, Load Balancers, Proxies and SD-WAN technologies. Proficiency with packet capture analysis and monitoring tools (e.g. FMAD, Corvil, Grafana, Prometheus). An "Automation First" mindset with exposure to Python or Go for network automation and tooling.
