Job Profile Summary The main purpose of this position is to promote team growth by creating quality team matches and educating drivers on the benefits and opportunities that come with being a Team driver at Werner. External Job Posting The job functions listed below represent the essential job duties and responsibilities of the above-listed position. Essential Job Functions Onboard team drivers and welcome them to Werner, if new to the company. Introduce yourself and explain the Team Matching process. Ensure personal information and team preferences are updated and run teammate searches regularly. Assist assigned drivers with their search process and encourage them to actively reach out to teammate candidates. Mutually confirm team matches and follow the steps to finalize and post the match. Communicate effectively with drivers and internal teams to ensure the team match turns into a team build. Ensure accuracy and clear message in all communication both internally and externally. Work directly with the Driver Career Center to identify and solicit drivers who are interested in Team driving. Mediate problem/solution issues that may arise with drivers and internal departments. Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift as determined by supervisory personnel.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Have a background in customer service or recruiting. • Basic knowledge of Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive....etc. • Ability to communicate with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner. • Knowledge of Werner Enterprises policies and procedures, usually gained through practical experience and on-the-job training. • Knowledge of D.O.T. regulations with regard to the trucking industry. • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. • Strong communication skills. • Knowledge of U.S. geography. Education and Experience • Associates degree and transportation experience preferred. • One year of transportation experience preferred. • One to two years AS400 or P.C. experience preferred.
