Job Description
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:00 – 22:00 (no rotating shifts) What’s in it for you Competitive salary (€2,700 – €3,400 gross/month based on experience) Stable working hours (Monday to Friday, 13:00 – 22:00) A professional and structured working environment Role Overview The Operations Specialist works within the package center and plays a key role in supporting customers while coordinating the center’s administrative operations. This role requires accuracy, independence, and strong ownership. The OMS (Operation Management Systems) Specialist ensures that all shipments and administrative processes within the center are closely monitored and handled correctly, while maintaining clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. What are you going to do Deliver outstanding customer service to walk‑in customers and via telephone and email Take ownership of customer shipping needs and offer appropriate and effective solutions Monitor shipments closely and proactively identify and resolve issues Maintain oversight of all administrative processes within the package center Perform audits and ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality standards Work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic operational environment Operate all relevant equipment, systems, and software, and support or train others when needed Maintain accurate administrative records and reporting, including working with Excel Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with customers and colleagues Your Qualifications & Skills High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English mandatory; Dutch preferred) Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (with a strong focus on Excel) and Adobe Suite Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor processes and perform audits Ability to lift 40+ lbs / 18+ kg NB: this is 1-year contract, with the aim to convert it to a permanent contract at the end of the first year.
