Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our– Flow Cytometry team in Indianapolis, IN! Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, First Shift (some possible Saturdays) Job Responsibilities: Supervise the day to day operations of the Flow Cytometry Lab in Indianapolis Ensure laboratory tests are accurately performed and results are reported in a timely manner Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel of the department Monitor daily workflow in the lab and schedule adequate assay coverage Responsible for ensuring all shifts in the department are properly staffed Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary Engage in continuous process and service level improvements Ensure all equipment is being properly maintained through Quality Control Prepare and maintain Quality Assurance records and documents Evaluate new process improvements and make appropriate recommendations Meet regularly with direct reports to provide coaching and feedback for their development Perform bench work as needed and maintain proficiency/competency in technical operations Ensure all work is in accordance with state and Federal regulations Responsible for administering and managing policies and procedures Process and maintain payroll and personnel files Perform administrative duties as needed Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or a other life science Six years or more of clinical laboratory experience Preferred Qualifications: Two years or more of Flow Cytometry experience Previous supervisor experience ASCP and/or AMT Certifications Additional Job Standards: Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures Proficient with Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office Strong communication skills; both written and verbal High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills Comfortability making decisions in a changing environment Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position ***Sign-on Bonus $7,500*** Internal Employees Not Eligible for Sign-on Bonus Benefits:  Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. For more detailed information, please  click here .  #LI-AB1 Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer: Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
