Job Functions / Responsibilities
Develops Overall Material Handling Strategies and Flow
Develops and Maintains Plan for Every Part (PFEP)
Coordinates Outsourced Packaging Engineering Activities
Supports System Design and Testing
Provides Support to Materials High Performance Work Teams
Manages the integration of new engine platform material flow into running business operations
Manages Department Capital Budget
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree Required.
Materials Analytical or Logistics Related Manufacturing Engineering Experience Required.
Understanding of Set-Up and Management of Just In-Time and Just In-Sequence Inventory Practices Required.
Strong Demonstrated Knowledge of Six-Sigma, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement Concepts Required.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Superior analytical and problem solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products specially Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
Desired
Six-Sigma Training Certification Preferred.
Advanced Degree Preferred
