Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Multi-Domain Operations, and Missile Defense Integration Business Unit (BU) has an exciting career opportunity for a Program Manager 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Huntsville, AL. Role and Responsibilities: As a Program Manager , you will support the GMD Weapon System (GWS) Ground Support System (GSS) Hardware team's efforts working within an diverse environment. Tracking and reporting cost and schedule performance (CAM duties) of a multi-disciplined systems engineering, integration, design, test, and production team Interface with multi-disciplinary technical teams understanding their roadmaps, budgets, technical challenges, risks, dependencies, and GFX Oversee proposal development, program planning, and execution through the Phases of the GWS Program Coordinate with cross-division IPTs to ensure appropriate schedule integration Ensure contract compliance and execution of SSOW requirements including timely SDRL submittals for external suppliers Represent Northrop Grumman (NG) as a company, conveying our message to the customer; and integrating knowledge of the spectrum of NG capabilities with understanding of customer needs to promote our company and capabilities Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Systems Engineering and 5 years of related professional experience; OR Master’s degree and 3 years of related professional experience. Professional experience in technical projects, program planning, or project/program management. Minimum of three years of experience in Systems Engineering requirements development OR three years of experience in Mechanical/Electrical engineering design implementation Strong understanding of system requirements and systems engineering lifecycle Experience with roadmap development on agile development programs Prior Northrop Grumman CAM training and strong desire to learn CAM-specific responsibilities Experience relaying complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in a clear and concise manner to leadership Experience with proposal development including authoring/reviewing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and technical evaluation of subcontractor inputs Experience in risk development and
