Inside Edition is looking for a Digital Executive Producer for its award-winning TV news program. The digital position leads daily editorial planning, production, and publishing for the digital and streaming operation. This role serves as the primary point of contact for both the show and the digital/streaming organization, pitches and assigns stories, approves and copyedits content, and manages distribution across all platforms. The position also runs and participates in daily and weekly editorial meetings and oversees analytics and rights management. The position is responsible for supervising the digital team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Lead the daily editorial planning, production, and publishing for the digital streaming operations
Serve as the primary point of contact between the television show and the digital/streaming operation
Pitch, assign, and oversee the development of digital stories and content
Review, approve, and copyedit content to ensure editorial quality, accuracy, and consistency
Manage the distribution and publication of content across all platforms
Lead and actively participate in daily and weekly editorial planning meetings
Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics and use analytics to inform editorial strategy
Oversee content rights management and ensure compliance with licensing and usage requirements
Supervise, mentor, and provide day-to-day leadership to members of the digital team, including assigning work, monitoring performance, and supporting employee development
Basic Qualifications
B.S. or B.A. degree, or equivalent
Management experience creating engaging content across multiple platforms
Additional Qualifications
Ability to utilize digital analytics and apply them to set goals
Strong insight into how to grow and maintain digital/social traffic
Proficient in technology, social media tools, and video editing
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills with a proven track record for getting results

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Hiring Salary Range: $140000.0 - 180000.0. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
