Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence. As a Trade Compliance Analyst , you will be responsible for evaluating import and export operations to ensure compliance with global trade regulations and company policies. In this role, you will support trade compliance audits, analyze findings, and help drive root cause corrective actions to mitigate risk and improve processes. You will also assist with supplemental duty payments and approvals, support documentation requests from duty drawback providers, and partner closely with import/export teams to report audit results and implement corrective actions that strengthen compliance across the organization.

This role is located in Morton, IL and does not offer relocation. This role is 1st shift, Monday – Friday. This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules What You Will Do: Evaluate import and export operations to ensure compliance with applicable global trade laws, regulations, and company policies. Support day-to-day global trade operations by addressing operational issues and assisting with compliance-related activities. Partner with business stakeholders to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide guidance on trade compliance matters. Maintain trade compliance records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. Prepare analyses, reports, and supporting materials for review related to trade compliance inquiries and activities. Participate in trade compliance audits by reviewing processes, transactions, and documentation to identify potential risks and compliance gaps. Collaborate with import/export teams to communicate audit findings and support the development of corrective action plans. Conduct root cause analysis and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions resulting from audit findings. Support supplemental duty payment processes, including coordinating approvals and ensuring timely resolution. Assist with documentation requests and data submissions for duty drawback providers and related trade programs. Monitor compliance trends and recommend process improvements to strengthen global trade controls and reduce risk. Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance trade compliance processes, reporting, and operational effectiveness.
