What’s new with Aptar We have an exciting position open for a Shipping Coordinator in Eatontown, NJ .  This role is responsible for administratively coordinating the daily activities of the department in accordance with the Daily Pick List Release through communication with Customer Service, Customers & Transport Suppliers.  Process and maintain all shipping related documentation. Perform analysis of daily activities & various other projects. This is how your journey begins:

You will document daily pick activities. You will delegate pick to order pickers. You will process and create bills of landing, and other shipping documents as needed via SAP. You will contact transport suppliers and arrange for pick-ups. You will communicate with Customer Relations and Customers regarding delivery status. You will maintain accurate and organized shipping documents. You will maintain various Shipping activity siles included but not limited to Customer delivery activity log, Safety Meeting log, Shipping activity log, and Transport Carrier Contact list. You will work on the resolution of paperwork problems. You will coordinate the re-labelling of reallocated inventory. You must master operation of all types of equipment (Drexel, stand up forklift, sit down forklift & electric pallet jack) You will support the external warehouse. You must be able to assess and resolve issues pertaining to the warehouse (i.e. issues with scanned material) to progress into another level.

Education

High School Diploma or GED Valid Forklift Certificate

Experience

Master the operation of all types of equipment (Drexel, stand up forklift, sit down forklift & electric pallet jack) Two years in a Manufacturing Environment. Two years in the Shipping Environment. SAP Experience Preferred Cycle counting experience Data analysis experience

Skills

Strong Customer Service skills Team player Excellent hand-eye coordination Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners Mathematical aptitude Good organizational skills Attention to detail Must be focused on ensuring accurate documentation.
