Position Summary
The Global Process & Support Engineer serves as the global subject matter expert for the New Air inflatable bubble extrusion process and the associated capital equipment platform. This role is responsible for optimizing process performance, improving equipment reliability, supporting global manufacturing operations, and leading technical initiatives that enhance quality, productivity, safety, and cost effectiveness. This position combines deep process engineering expertise with capital equipment ownership, requiring strong technical leadership across product development, manufacturing operations, equipment design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Global Engineering teams to ensure the platform performs consistently across all locations. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the global subject matter expert for the New Air inflatable bubble extrusion process and related capital equipment. Lead process optimization efforts to improve throughput, yield, product consistency, energy efficiency, and scrap reduction. Own technical standards, process parameters, and equipment specifications for the platform. Support the design, development, installation, commissioning, and qualification of new capital equipment. Drive equipment reliability, uptime, and maintainability through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Partner with manufacturing sites to troubleshoot process and equipment issues and implement sustainable solutions. Lead or support capital projects, equipment upgrades, line relocations, and process transfers. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, training materials, and technical documentation. Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve machine design, controls, and automation. Evaluate and recommend process or equipment changes to improve safety, quality, and total cost of ownership. Support global rollout of best practices, standards, and lessons learned across all applicable
