Primary Responsibilities
The Facility Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of the Client site, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction through strategic oversight and team leadership. Key Accountabilities Site Operations & Governance Manage all aspects of the Client site, operations, ensuring service delivery aligns with contractual obligations and organizational standards Provide regular reporting to the Region on site performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives Oversee SLA management and conduct monthly performance reviews to ensure service level targets are consistently met Financial Management Maintain full financial accountability for the site Monitor budget performance and implement cost optimization strategies while maintaining service quality Prepare financial forecasts and variance analyses for regional leadership Vendor & Service Quality Management Lead vendor management activities, including performance evaluation, contract compliance, and cost negotiations Ensure vendor service quality meets established standards through regular assessments and improvement initiatives Drive continuous improvement in vendor relationships and service delivery outcomes Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for site-related matters Demonstrate a client-centric approach that prioritizes partnership over rigid adherence to contractual boundaries Proactively identify client needs and develop responsive solutions that enhance satisfaction Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) Oversee all IFM operations within the designated area, ensuring seamless coordination across service lines Accurately assess requirements and translate them into actionable proposals, plans, and execution strategies Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and actively participate in 5S initiatives People Management Lead, develop, and mentor team members within the account structure Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning Conduct performance management and succession planning activities Required Qualifications & Competencies Leadership & Problem-Solving Demonstrated leadership ability with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges Strong collaborative skills with the ability to mobilize cross-functional teams toward common objectives Financial Acumen Keen awareness of financial performance metrics with the ability to develop sustainable profit generation strategies Experience managing complex budgets and delivering results within financial constraints Vendor Management Expertise Proven ability to effectively manage vendor relationships, balancing quality requirements with cost considerations Strong negotiation and contract management skills Client Service Excellence Professional judgment and discretion in client interactions, with the flexibility to prioritize client needs appropriately Commitment to delivering exceptional service that exceeds client expectations Communication Skills Professional proficiency in English for both written and verbal communication Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels Location: On-site –Hyogo, Japan If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to
