Strategy & Program Development For this role strategy means the creation of the EHS organization, programs, resources and management system that drive TE’s overall EHS strategy and values within the employee’s area of responsibility. Execution of the strategy will be through both individual and delegated tasks and programs within the organization. • Develop, plan, implement and maintain an EHS management system for the organization that meets the TE Safety Assessment for Effectiveness (SAFE) requirements, implements TE environmental sustainability programs, ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, TE policies and TE specifications and provides for continuous improvement in EH&S performance. • Ensure TE safety initiatives required by the TEOA Safety Tool are deployed for the organization, including behavior based safety (BBS), ergonomics programs, risk assessment, EHS training, machine guarding and employee engagement. • Assess, evaluate, quantify and prioritize EHS risks for the organization and develop action plans for ensuring all significant risks are controlled and managed as part of the operational controls defined within the EHS management system and TEOA processes and procedures. • Partner with TEOA leaders in the organization to integrate EHS into TEOA processes. • Ensure that program implementation is deployed in a methodical way, involving input from various stake holders, agreed upon time line for training and acquisition of the needed resources. EHS Structure & Program Management • Build action plans for the implementation of the organization’s EHS programs and take a leadership role in delivering the organization’s EHS goals and strategy. • Create and deliver training programs to ensure those involved in maintaining the organization’s EHS programs are aware of their responsibilities and how to discharge them. Provide training for all employees in support of achieving 100% engagement in EHS. • Establish and develop teams for driving EHS improvements and managing EHS programs, including site safety and environmental committees; energy teams and; behavioral
