Job Summary
Represent Nordson in a positive way, manage operations, develop business, and increase profitability in Korea for all the LoB’s under EPS division. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities · Responsible for managing all operations within the specified country. · Responsibility includes General management, Sales & Marketing, Service & Application. As part of the role, expected to recruit and manage staff, including performance monitoring, mentoring, and training. · Role is client facing, therefore ability to communicate effectively is essential. · Role involves managing multiple LoB’s and their range of products. Important to have knowledge across the LoB’s and their products. · Achieve sales targets and increase sales volume by implementing sound business strategies to grow current markets and explore new markets. · Formulate sales and marketing strategies through market analysis and partner closely with local distributor(s) to drive sales and win projects. · Ability to manage distributors across multiple competitive products. Establish contacts and develop strong relationships with distributors through regular visits and contact. · Support marketing activities with distributors by participating in key trade exhibitions/shows and other events to promote Nordson products. · Work closely and directly with Nordson Top customers and ensure that we maximise our market share and grow with them. · Provide application and product training and updates to customers on the latest technology and product developments. · Gather relevant market information, including latest technology and industry trends, competitor developments, changes in existing markets and emergence of new markets for feedback to management. · Maintain customer profiles and up to date information through the CRM system and provide feedback to management, including reports on sales activities, prepare short-term and long-term sales forecasts. · Set up a robust service support team for the region with capability to handle demos and application independently and locally. · Handling customer concerns quickly and effectively and maintain good relationship. · Manage regional expenses relating to office administration, travel and business related, and ensure that they are aligned against budgeted norms.
Education and Experience
Requirements Required Education: · Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering. · 8-10 years related in technical/service in similar industry is required. Required Length & Type of Experience: · Additional training and/or experience should include managerial experience in the manufacturing environment, specifically in a related industry. · Commercially focused, creative, confident, self-driven and inventive, able to originate complex commercial solutions, yet patient and tenacious as required. · Able to drive change management within the customer base. · Excellent communications skills – the ability to listen and to communicate complex commercial solutions confidently. · Outstanding people-management, organizational, collaborative, inspirational, analytical, influencing and motivational skills. · High levels of personal initiative, motivation, credibility and integrity, able to secure buy-in from others to new
