Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Electrical Safety & Compliance Specialist (SRP).   This position is ONSITE Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm at our Arden (Asheville) NC Eaton facility.  Relocation assistance will be provided, if needed.   The Electrical Safety & Compliance Specialist (SRP) serves as the technical leader for electrical safety programs at the Asheville manufacturing facility, with primary responsibility for manufacturing test operations and laboratory testing environments. This role provides expert guidance to improve electrical test safety, drive compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and Eaton standards, and lead risk-reduction initiatives through continuous improvement and capital project implementation. The successful candidate will partner closely with engineering, operations, EHS, maintenance, and external service providers to build and sustain a world-class electrical safety program.   The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.   Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.  In This Role: •    Lead the site electrical safety program in full compliance with OSHA 1910 CFR, NFPA 70E, Eaton requirements, and site-specific policies; maintain and update all related standards, procedures, and documentation. •    Utilize Electrical Test Control Assessment and Electrical Risk Assessment tools to identify improvement opportunities, verify compliance, and reduce operational risk. •    Develop and implement electrical safety improvement plans, including capital and non-capital projects that drive risk reduction and improve overall employee safety performance. •    Manage electrical safety projects from concept through completion, ensuring corrective actions are verified and sustained. •    Conduct routine electrical safety GEMBA assessments within manufacturing and laboratory environments; track findings, assign corrective actions, and verify closure. •    Review and approve permits and risk mitigation plans associated with non-standard electrical testing activities. •    Administer and audit the Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) personal protective equipment (PPE) program and all associated compliance requirements. •    Serve as the facility MESH Electrical Champion, supporting ongoing self-assessments, compliance audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. •    Lead QEW training, competency development, and qualification programs for personnel performing electrical testing activities. •    Track and trend electrical safety performance metrics, risk assessment outcomes, and corrective action completion to ensure sustained program effectiveness. •    Partner with engineering, maintenance, and third-party service providers to ensure safe and compliant electrical test equipment and supporting infrastructure. •    Support Electrical Safe Work Practices (ESWP) initiatives in collaboration with the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team. •    Support recruitment events, workforce development programs, and community partnerships that strengthen the site’s technical talent pipeline. •    Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications: 
 Basic REQUIRED Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Occupational Safety, or a related technical field from an accredited institution; OR Associate’s degree with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in electrical safety, electrical testing, or manufacturing engineering. Minimum five (5) years of experience in electrical safety, electrical testing, manufacturing engineering, industrial maintenance, EHS, or related technical discipline.
