Consultant - Software Engineer

What You'll do We are looking for a highly skilled Project Lead (Full STack-Frontend Heavy) role (React, AWS & Typescript/NodeJs) is responsible for providing hands on leadership in Technical, Business/Domain, Customer and Team aspects for successful deliveries. You'll have opportunity to: Delivery 1. Prepare and execute delivery plan for timely and quality delivery 2. Allocate work, monitor and track progress (including cross-discipline deliveries / modules etc.) 3. Contribute towards discipline specific delivery activities like Design Review, Release Management, etc 4. Work with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables 5. Provide required discipline leadership to the team with hands on support Process Adherence 1. Ensure Compliance with PGS / BU specific SDLC / Execution practices (like defect management, prevention, efforts tracking etc) 2. Work with Delivery manager for project reviews, action items, and continuous improvement. 3. Identify and handle delivery risks and dependencies 4. Prepare and maintain delivery metrics 5. Drive Release planning and co-ordination Team 1. Provide inputs to Delivery Manager for appraisals & development plans for team members 2. Mentor team members to build application/system expertise in the relevant domain Other Contribution 1. Participate in BU level initiatives such as Knowledge Management, Operational Efficiency, etc Qualifications Who You are: Years of experience: 8 to 10 years Must Have Technical skillset: React JS, NSK, Rest API development, NodeJS/Typescript, Python, AWS Domain: Asset Mgmt. background with exposure to Front Office solutions used by portfolio managers, Research Analysts and Sales & Marketing Education: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (B.E. / B.Tech / M.S. / M.Tech / MCA). Other: Sound technical skills, inter personal skills, good experience in estimation methodologies, excellent communication and time management skills required. Understanding of system workflow, application workflow within the system, interfaces with other systems. High level understanding of business processes performed by system.
