DESCRIPTION: Join our collaborative talent management team at Thermo Fisher Scientific in advancing organizational excellence through strategic talent initiatives. As Director of Talent Management, Corporate Functions you'll contribute to shaping our leadership pipeline and fostering a culture of continuous development. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll partner with senior leaders to design and implement comprehensive talent strategies that support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll guide initiatives spanning succession planning, leadership development, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. Your expertise will help identify and develop emerging talent, create scalable learning solutions, and drive data-informed decisions about talent pipeline health. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building abilities, strategic thinking, and the capability to translate complex talent strategies into practical solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

This role will be based in Waltham MA with 4 out of 5 days per week onsite working required Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in tal ent management or human resources, with demonstrated expertise in developing and executing talent strategies Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field Demonstrated success in influencing and collaborating with senior leaders across diverse business functions Experience designing and implementing succession planning processes and leadership development programs Proven ability to leverage data analytics to assess program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement Strong project management skills with ability to lead multiple concurrent initiatives Excellence in strategic problem-solving and translating concepts into actionable plans Strong consulting and relationship management capabilities across all organizational levels Expertise in performance management processes and talent assessment methodologies Proficiency with HR technologies including Workday and learning management systems Advanced written and verbal communication skills Experience working effectively in collaborative organizations with global scope Demonstrated ability to build and guide effective teams Comprehensive understanding of talent development best practices and trends Strong business acumen and ability to align talent initiatives with business strategy Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $180,000.00–$210,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
