Job Description
Senior Treasury Analyst – Treasury Centre & FX Risk Management (m/f/x) The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Senior Treasury Analyst – Treasury Centre & FX Risk Management, you will play an important part in supporting 3M's global Treasury Centre activities, combining operational treasury execution with strategic capital and risk management initiatives. This position provides broad exposure to in-house banking, foreign exchange risk management, liquidity planning, investments, capital management, and treasury transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Legal, and business stakeholders across the globe to optimize cash management, funding structures, foreign exchange risk, and treasury operations while also supporting 3M's ongoing digital and AI transformation journey Here, you will make an impact by: Manage intercompany lending and borrowing activities across the global in-house bank structure. Execute FX trades for various in-house bank activities such as POBO, Intercompany netting and non-functional currency cash reduction Monitor and manage the corporate investment portfolio in accordance with Treasury policies and liquidity objectives. Support and maintain 3M's global balance sheet, cash flow, and net investment hedging programs. Analyse foreign exchange exposures and recommend strategies to optimize hedging and reduce earnings volatility. Partner with Finance, FP&A and Accounting teams to assess FX impacts and improve forecasting and risk management processes. Monitor global market developments and provide Treasury leadership with insights on currency risks and opportunities. Support the Capital Markets team through forecasting and global cash positioning activities. Coordinate treasury activities related to cash repatriation, intercompany funding, and capital structure optimization. Support debt, investment and financing initiatives as required. Contribute to treasury technology enhancements, automation projects and AI-enabled solutions. Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to simplify processes and enhance treasury effectiveness. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution Significant experience in a corporate treasury, banking, and/or relevant finance Additional qualifications that could help you succeed further in this role include: Experience within a multinational corporate treasury centre or in-house bank environment Understanding of intercompany funding, cash pooling, netting structures, POBO frameworks and liquidity management Experience managing FX exposures and executing derivative transactions including FX forwards, swaps, NDFs; Experience with FX options is an added advantage Knowledge of balance sheet hedging, cash flow hedging and net investment hedging programs Experience with Treasury Management Systems and ERP platforms such as Kyriba and SAP Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data visualization and reporting tools, Power BI preferred Understanding of treasury accounting and hedge accounting concepts Interest in treasury transformation, digitalization and AI-enabled process improvement Job specifics: Location Information - can be located at either our Dublin, Ireland or Bracknell, UK office This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four days a week in the office and one day remote Working pattern - full time Does this opportunity and our innovative 3M culture align with your career
