About the role
Job Description The Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain Systems serves as a strategic bridge between Supply Chain, Operations, and IT. In this role, you will modernize our end-to-end value chain by architecting scalable analytical tools, establishing robust data governance, and driving the department's transition toward predictive analytics and AI enablement. Grounded in Enterprise Lean Sigma (ELS) principles, you will translate complex datasets into strategic insights while leading initiatives to sunset legacy tools.
Key Responsibilities
This position operates on a hybrid work arrangement based in Mentor, OH. Serve as the business owner for the Supply Chain "Gold Data Layer," ensuring standard data definitions, security, accuracy, and process/security approvals for new data models and logic deployments. Drive AI and analytics modernization by shifting from descriptive reporting to predictive/prescriptive analytics, designing hands-on AI training, building prompt libraries, and partnering with IT on system implementations. Apply Enterprise Lean Sigma (ELS) tools and methodologies to streamline operations, build automated monitoring processes, and refactor legacy desktop applications (Excel, Access, VBA) into automated, scalable solutions. Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business operations, training and mentoring supply chain team members on data querying (SQL), analytical tools, and modern BI dashboards. Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for Supply Chain systems, reporting, and AI while supporting special projects and initiatives related to Supply Chain optimization and improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required 5+ years of Supply Chain or Systems Analyst experience, with demonstrated experience managing analytics projects across cross-functional teams. Hands-on experience with enterprise BI platforms (Oracle OBIA/OBIEE/OAS/OAC preferred) and familiarity with emerging AI productivity applications (e.g., Google Gemini, Gemini Notebook). Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, VBA, and SQL Server Tables, Views, Functions, and Stored Procedures, with proven capability to refactor legacy desktop applications (Excel/VBA/Access) into enterprise reporting environments. Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills, paired with exceptional written and verbal communication, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to conduct research and present complex statistical information clearly and succinctly.
