Satair IT Support is currently looking to hire a student worker in our Copenhagen office and warehouse. You will be a part of the IT Support team, responsible for handling Satair’s employees IT Incidents and Service Requests. As a Student IT Supporter in Satair, you will join a global team which is situated in Copenhagen, Singapore, Beijing and the US. We provide IT Support to our colleagues in the business on a 24/7 basis, by following the sun. As we are the first step into IT, guiding colleagues and leading them to our experts is also a discipline we practice. In this role, you will get valuable experience in how IT operates in a large international company and prepare you for your future career. The role as a Student IT Supporter, will be a part time job where we expect you to work 15-20 hours a week. We do however understand that, as you are a student there will be periods where we need to make adjustments to the expected hours. You will be based in our Copenhagen office, at Amager Landevej 147A, 2770 Kastrup. The working days and hours are: Monday - Friday, between 08:00 - 16:30. The 15-20 working hours will be split on the above days and time, depending on your study schedule. What the job is … Your main responsibility is to support our colleagues in the business when they face IT issues or are given a service request. As you’re the first point of contact, the ambition to provide good customer service is a necessity and a timely resolution is a must. Central aspects of the job: Resolution of Incidents of various complexity It will be an advantage if you have basic knowledge about one or more of the following: Network (IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) Hardware (PCs, Headsets, Monitors) Google Workspace Windows OS Fulfillment of Service Requests, such as IT Onboarding/Offboarding This includes setting up user accounts, providing accesses, and preparing the IT equipment to be used. Ensure that Identity and Access Management (IAM) activities are done with proper attention and care Proposing ideas for improvements in the IT Support Request the purchase of IT equipment and ensure IT asset management is done according to our processes Capture and share knowledge through written Knowledge Articles Work closely with the different Service Desks within the organization of Airbus What do you offer? In our company, the aspect of IT Support spans wide from a technical perspective. General knowledge about IT is therefore beneficial. Ideally you have helped your friends and family with solving their IT related issues and during this, found out that solving IT issues comes easy to you. Satair operates on the Windows OS and has recently transitioned to Google Workspace, so knowledge about Gmail, Google Drive or even Google Sheets will be an advantage. We’re looking for a candidate that is approachable and greets your colleagues with a smile, both verbally and in written text. In addition we’re also looking for the candidate that shows initiative and is not afraid to propose ideas for improvement. Your communication skills are important and that means you can engage in a dialogue with a skilled technician but also a colleague that has less understanding of IT than yourself. This will be needed in verbal and written form. On the written aspect, structure and an eye for detail is a plus. Another important skill is the ability to park your current task if an urgent issue arises and very importantly, remember to get back to where you left off. Due to the nature of IT Support, a certain part of our work comes with a level of unpredictability. We strive towards applying the principles of ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) in our IT Service Management tool. To increase
