Job Overview
Oversees quality assurance activities within the manufacturing process, ensuring products meet specifications. Job Requirements
Technical leadership and coordination of cross-functional teams on quality-related topics at the site, including disciplinary management of assigned employees Responsibility for maintaining and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) at the site and representing the site in the implementation of a global QMS Independent monitoring and coordination of customer complaints, including direct customer interaction and implementation of corrective actions Representation of the company's interests in quality-related matters with customers and suppliers Responsibility for certification and re-certification audits (DIN EN ISO 9001 and EN 9100) as well as customer audits, including follow-up of audit actions Conducting internal audits and preparing FAIs (First Article Inspections)/ First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) Ensuring compliance with and monitoring of quality policies and quality objectives through KPI reporting Defining and implementing quality assurance measures (incoming and outgoing inspections, change management) and making decisions regarding the control of non-conforming products Creating and approving QM documentation as well as initiating and tracking actions resulting from audits, 8D processes, and change management activities What your background should look like
Completed technical degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent) At least 8 years of hands-on experience in Quality Management, ideally within electronics manufacturing and/or the aerospace industry Quality Management training/certification in ISO 9001 and EN 9100 Knowledge of QM Core Tools (FMEA, 5 Whys, 8D, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English Strong communication and teamwork skills Analytical mindset with a structured and detail-oriented approach to work Sound judgment and a high level of initiative Strong facilitation, moderation, and conflict resolution skills
