Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman is seeking Test & Evaluation Engineers to join the Aeronautics Sector Intern Program . This position will be located in Oklahoma City, OK . The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Test & Evaluation organization. As an intern, you’ll participate in a summer internship program to develop competencies in a variety of test & evaluation engineering specializations that may include: Support Test & Evaluation Engineers in planning and executing lab and field tests on components, systems, and software. Set up instrumentation and data acquisition, ensuring test configurations meet engineering and safety requirements while testing designs against reality. Collect and analyze test data to spot anomalies, edge cases, and performance trends, turning results into clear, actionable insight. Prepare test procedures, logs, data summaries, and reports that communicate system performance to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues, support root cause and corrective action, and help turn ideas into proven, mission‑ready capability.
Basic Qualifications
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2027. Be majoring in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree. Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027 Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
Preferred Qualifications
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25 out of 4.0 or higher Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular). Good presentation and writing/communication skills. Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment. Experience in developing and delivering presentations and leading small groups. Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on complex projects. Experience in working on engineering full life-cycle projects from project inception through launch.
