Divisional Description: Group COO - Global Procurement ( GP ) enables Deutsche Bank ( DB ) to optimize supplier relationships to meet its strategic objectives We partner across the bank to develop and execute strategies to meet our business requirements We apply our understanding of the supply market and specialized procurement capabilities to optimize value created We enable the bank to access suppliers by identifying and mitigating vendor risks We manage the platforms to enable efficient purchasing of goods and services Team Description: Within GP, the Procurement Transformation & Remediation (T&R) team underpins and enables the ambitions of GP through partnering and strong alignment across the function to deliver transformation, defining learning & development and unlocking value creation. The Process Orchestrator project is a transformation programme delivered by T&R to redesign the end-to-end procurement journey and deliver the target-state process and technology needed to address current process pain points. It brings together process and control redesign, intelligent intake management, workflow orchestration, data foundations, reporting, chatbot-enabled support and operations automation, with the aim of creating a single front door for procurement demand, clearer routing and triage, improved end-to-end visibility, stronger auditability, and a more joined-up user experience across downstream procurement processes. The Senior Business Functional Analyst will support DB Management and the Automation Lead in delivering the Ops Automation transformation journey. The role will act as a key interface into the operations organisation, gathering detailed process insight, documenting current-state processes, capturing business requirements and defining changes needed to support automation delivery. It will also support testing and adoption readiness through the development of test scenarios and training plans, ensuring that automation solutions are shaped around practical operational needs and are ready for implementation.
Responsibilities
Support DB Management and the Automation Lead in progressing the Ops Automation transformation agenda, ensuring detailed operational input is captured and translated into delivery-ready outputs. Act as the interface into the operations organisation, gathering process detail, clarifying requirements and ensuring operational considerations are reflected in automation design. Document current-state processes, pain points, process changes and business requirements to support automation opportunity development and implementation planning. Develop test scenarios and support testing readiness by ensuring expected business outcomes, process steps and operational acceptance criteria are clearly defined. Prepare training plans and supporting change documentation to help operational teams understand new processes, automation impacts and revised ways of working.
Skills
Strong business functional analysis experience, with the ability to document requirements, process flows, test scenarios and change impacts in complex environments. Good understanding of P2P processes and practical experience supporting process automation or operational improvement initiatives. Ability to work effectively with operations teams, transformation leads and management stakeholders to gather detail, resolve ambiguity and support decision-making.
