The General Production Labor position provides hands-on support to production operations by performing a variety of manual and production-related tasks as assigned. This role supports product flow, quality, and efficiency while   maintaining   a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies, food safety standards, and procedures in a fresh food manufacturing environment.

Perform assigned production tasks to support processing, packaging, and material handling operations   Assist   with product handling, sorting, stacking, and staging as   required   Maintain continuous product flow to prevent downtime or congestion   Monitor product for quality defects and report concerns promptly   Assist   line operators with setup, changeovers, and general line support   Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment   Remove waste, scrap, and recyclable materials according to plant procedures   Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supervisor instructions   Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and allergen control requirements   Comply with   OSHA regulations and Tyson safety policies   Use required PPE and follow safe work practices   Perform other duties as assigned     Fresh Plant Environment Expectations  Work directly with raw, in-process, or packaged fresh product   Adhere to strict food safety, sanitation, and contamination prevention standards   Wear required PPE, including gloves, aprons, hairnets, and protective footwear   Work in temperature-controlled environments, including cold, wet, or humid conditions     Experience:  Prior manufacturing, production, or general labor experience preferred   Experience in food manufacturing or fresh plant operations a plus       Relocation Assistance Eligible: No Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America) Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
