Test Automation

Job Description: Essential Job Functions: Lead the development and implementation of automated testing solutions for REST APIs, ensuring high-quality and efficient testing processes. Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using REST Assured API, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements. Develop and execute automated test scripts, analyzing results and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with development teams to ensure testing is integrated into the development lifecycle, and provide expertise in test automation frameworks and tools.

Basic Qualifications: • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Typically, 10 years of relevant work experience in the software industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar test automation role • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals

Other Qualifications: • Expert-level certification in REST API testing, such as REST API TESTING 3, or equivalent experience • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, test automation frameworks, and RESTful APIs • Experience with test automation tools, such as REST Assured API, and programming languages like Java or Python • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
