The Plating Operator II is responsible for operating and adjusting plating lines to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. This role requires a higher level of technical skill and equipment interaction than Plating Operator I and supports preventive maintenance, quality assurance, and material movement across departments. On‑the‑job training is provided for candidates who demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to grow within the organization. Primary Responsibilities:
Host, forklift, and hyster-lift operation and inspections Operate pallet jacks and other material handling devices to move product and materials Operate, monitor, and adjust plating lines to meet production and quality standards Perform in‑process and final quality inspections to ensure product conformance Conduct preventive and autonomous maintenance on plating equipment Perform basic chemical labeling and handling activities in compliance with safety standards Operate and inspect material‑handling equipment Coordinate and move materials and product between departments Follow all standard work instructions, safety procedures, and PPE requirements Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S principles
Education / Experience
