Strategic Sourcing Manager – Display Engine & Optics

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) for Display Engine and Optics to drive the development, sourcing, and delivery of next-generation microdisplay and optical modules for AR/VR/AI glasses. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about breakthrough hardware and building high-performing supply chains.

As a Microdisplay & Optics SSM, you will develop strategic relationships and sourcing strategies for microdisplay modules and critical optical components—including (but not limited to) High spectral density light/Illumination sources, backlights, optical combiners, coatings, lens arrays, light engines, and module-level integration partners. You will lead commercial negotiations, cost modeling (BOM and conversion), and end-to-end supply chain management for these advanced technologies.

This role requires close collaboration with Display Engine Engineering, Optical Engineering, Systems teams, Program Management, Quality, and Supplier Development Engineers. Throughout the product lifecycle, you will ensure suppliers are prepared to deliver modules and components on-time, at specified quality, reliability, yield, and performance parameters, and are ready to support ramp quantities. Your primary objective is to ensure suppliers meet commercial and technical requirements for Meta's AR/VR/AI products.
