Market-driven strategist who continuously scans for emerging trends, unmet needs, and disruptive opportunities related to core markets Innovation leader who thrives in ambiguity and proactively develops product concepts in response to customer problems Structured thinker who translates market insights into clear product strategies, business cases, and roadmaps Influencer and communicator who knows how to get executive sponsorship and align cross-functional stakeholders around a common vision Customer-centric problem solver who balances user needs, technical feasibility, and business outcomes Key Responsibilities Market Insight & Opportunity Identification Execute deep market and competitive analysis to identify whitespace opportunities and growth vectors within core markets Synthesize discovery Voice of Customer (VoC), industry trends, and market insights into strategic opportunities to explore. Qualify and prioritize ideas by sizing market opportunities, defining customer problems, and estimating levels of desirability, viability, and feasibility Innovation & Product Strategy Key contributor to the front-end innovation process, from concept ideation through business case validation Develop clear product visions, contribute to multi-year roadmaps and portfolio strategies with the product team. Define and prioritize high-impact problems worth solving, work with cross functional teams to test prototypes for product-market fit. Build and present business cases including financial modeling and ROI justification Define successful products, setting the features and requirements priorities that will achieve the expected customer and business outcomes Product Execution & Portfolio Management Communicate product vision and high-level product definitions to executable product requirements for skilled development teams and portfolio product managers to develop and take to market Partner with portfolio product managers and commercial teams to manage the product lifecycle, applying business insights to priorities for innovation. Support idea prioritization frameworks, balancing growth roadmap ideas with core business needs Qualifications Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field 2+ years of product management or market-focused experience in a B2B technical environment Demonstrated success in driving product innovation and growth Experience with qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies Proven ability to contribute to business cases and influence investment decisions Excellent communication and presentation skills Preferred MBA or equivalent strategic experience Experience defining product features and requirements in a structured framework Experience in biomedical testing, healthcare technology, or radiation safety markets Key Skills & Attributes Strategic thinking with strong front-end product planning capability Customer centric mindset, focus on delivering real value and solving customer problems Analytical rigor with creative problem-solving Ability to operate in ambiguity and recommend direction early
