The Operations Manager will manage every aspect of events and operations in the facility from the setup of the event through the end of the event; the position will work with third parties to recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate all operations, parking, and housekeeping staff; coordinate communication between every department and delegate assignments; and be responsible for and ensure overall upkeep of the facility. The position will assist in managing all aspects of both ice rinks, including scheduling staff. This role pays an annual salary of $55,000-$60,000 Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays) This position will remain open until October 23, 2026.

The Vystar Pavillion boasts a 4,500-seat outdoor venue with luxury suites, club seating, and first-rate food and beverage. The Vystar Pavillion will bolster entertainment in the Southeast by hosting must-see national touring concerts, family shows, comedians, and more. The Port Wentworth Ice Cove will host small skating events, youth hockey, college hockey, collegiate and amateur sporting events, and more.

Oversee day-to-day building operations, maintenance, and special projects. Plans and coordinates a variety of facility set-ups, including ice hockey matches, youth skates, college hockey, family shows, concerts, comedy shows, parking lot events, sports, and trade show configurations. Manage and develop parking procedures that conform to corporate standards specific to the parking operations. Overseeing part-time operations, parking, and housekeeping staff members for facility setup, events, and breakdown. Oversee facility maintenance program and development of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Oversee all purchases of safety equipment, housekeeping, parking, and operational supplies for third-party vendors. Assist in performing operations department reviews in weekly staff meetings. Develop and maintain working relationships with all departments. Know and guarantee all laws, codes, ordinances, policies, procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules/regulations, and emergency procedures are followed. Maintains and oversees departmental equipment; notifies Ice operations manager as additional equipment is needed and schedules services required. Assist in overseeing and monitoring all ice events, conversion, and housekeeping crews; provide team support as required.
