Performs technical tasks including research, development and the improvement of manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, ensure safety and minimize the excessive use of resources. Your main tasks
Process Development & Optimization
Design, develop, and validate new manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and performance requirements. Optimize existing processes to improve throughput, reduce scrap, and enhance yield. Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization.
Industrialization & New Product Introduction (NPI)
Support the industrialization of new products from prototype to mass production. Develop process flow diagrams, PFMEA, standards work instructions . Participate in cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain). Coordinate trials, pilot builds, and validation phases.
Production Support & Root Cause Analysis
Provide technical support to daily manufacturing operations. Support Quality analysis and investigating using tools such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, DMAIC, PFMEA. Implement robust corrective and preventive actions for existing processes. Monitor KPIs (OEE, cycle time, scrap rate, downtime) and deploy improvement plans.
Equipment & Tooling Management
Define equipment and tooling requirements; collaborate with ME team Or suppliers. Commission and validate new machines and fixtures. Improve machine performance through upgrades and parameter optimization.
Your ideal background
Engineering or master’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalent (Mechanical /Automation) 2+ years of experience in Process Engineering, preferably within the automotive sector (Cable Assembly) Knowledge of Automotive Core Tools - APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, 8D , IATF 16949:2016 Good Communication level (English / French) Competencies
