Job Summary

The Lowboy Operator (Operator) drives a tractor and trailer lowboy to locate and relocate heavy equipment. Operator will navigate truck and equipment in rural, off highway, high traffic roadways and oil field environments. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate tractor and lowboy trailer in accordance with WM Safety and Life Critical Rules, Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA)and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws. Load , transport and unload heavy equipment at jobsites Complete all required paperwork properly and within set time lines. Ensure all equipment and components are in good working condition at all times. Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment and documents checks on standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report), follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance, perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly. Report any inefficiency to manager. Follow WM policies and procedures while working. Maintain and use appropriate personal protective equipment. Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings required by WM or Manager. Works closely with Manager to improve efficiencies and identify best practices. Notifies Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage. Any other duties as assigned. III.

6 months to one year of heavy equipment experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job. and Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located and Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports and Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical. Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A with an air brake endorsement B.

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D (accredited) IV.
