Offered Position: Cloud HDE II Job Location: Austin, Texas Job Number: AMZ9971182 Position Responsibilities: Take hardware products from the design phase all the way through to high-volume production. Work hands-on to solve complex manufacturing challenges, partnering closely with our contract manufacturers and suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met. Lead design reviews, create manufacturing processes and documentation, and serve as the bridge between internal product development teams and external manufacturing partners. Beyond the technical work, also mentor junior engineers, help improve team's processes and tools, and participate in hiring and training new team members.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have three years of experience in the following skills: (1) experience with PCBA manufacturing, assembly, or test processes; (2) experience working with PCBA manufacturing suppliers (ODMs/CMs) to improve incoming quality of electronic assemblies; and (3) experience with surface mount technology (SMT), through-hole assembly processes, and PCBA manufacturing and test methodologies. Domestic and/or international travel up to 50% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
